The Sketch Designer

The Sketch Designer Tool Window is where you'll be spending your time with NextSketch 2. It is a vast improvement over the NextSketch (1) Sketch Editor, featuing pixel-perfect rendering, the ability to zoom in or out, a much more flexible work canvas, and more.
Once the License validation is done, you'll be prompted to create or open a .sketch file. In NextSketch 2, all diagrams you make and store are saved as .sketch files. Let's make one.
Right click a folder and go to New > New Sketch. This will create a Sketch file in that directory, and open the Sketch Designer automatically. Also, note that double-clicking any Sketch file will also open the Sketch Designer.
Unsurprisingly, there's nothing here. NextSketch (1) users will recall how there was a rectangular canvas that you could resize, here, we removed it to make the interface cleaner. Let's check out the new UI!
At the top, you'll notice convenient buttons for creating NextSketch 2 entities. You'll also notice the file path of the Sketch file you made, and the help button.
It's time to build a Sketch, see you on the next page!
