Creating a simple Sketch

Any Sketch needs objects to populate it, it would be quite boring otherwise. The 3 types of objects are the Node and the Container, and the Link.
Node's represent something in your Sketch, and Links connect Nodes together. We'll get to what Containers do in a minute.
After you've opened a Sketch, you can create a new Node anywhere by pressing T.
You can click on the Node and move it around with your mouse. Wonderful, wonderfully boring that is! Let's make some more!
Now that our Node friend is in good company, you can connect them together with Links. They represent a relationship between 2 objects. You can make a Link by right-clicking a Node, and then attaching it to another Node by, you guessed it, right-clicking again. If your Link has to follow a specific path, you can place bend points by right clicking before attaching.
You can change the properties of a Node by selecting it and pressing I. For Links, you can move your cursor close to them until they become red, then press I. Here, you can modify the objects to your liking.
For Nodes, you can change the shape, add important files, change text, and change color. For Links, you can change the color, change the text, and even make it arrowed.
You can also select Nodes and delete them by pressing Delete, or select a Link (by moving your mouse to it) and then hit Delete.
Now that there's something to see, let's run over the Sketch Designer controls real quick. Left click and drag to pan around the editor. To zoom in, you can swipe up or down with 2 fingers on your trackpad, or use the scroll wheel on your mouse.
